The Next Generation of Faucet Cartridge Technology

The Technological Evolution of Flow

The Technological Evolution of Flow

For decades, the plumbing industry has been stuck in the "Complexity Trap." Traditional diverters rely on heavy brass, dual-cartridge systems, and unreliable push-type springs that fail over time.

Hyper Flow is the result of 8 years of R&D, backed by the 17-year legacy of Kerro Faucets (est. 2008) and a team of experts with 40+ years of engineering experience. We have engineered a single-cartridge solution that provides High Water Output in Low-Pressure environments while offering Universal Compatibility for manufacturers.

Solving the "Complexity Trap"

Solving the "Complexity Trap"

We identify the problems of the past to build the technology of the future.

1. The Low-Pressure Crisis (The User Problem)

Traditional cartridges restrict water flow, leading to weak showers in high-rise buildings or low-pressure areas.

  • The Hyper Flow Advantage: Our cartridges are hydro-dynamically optimized to deliver maximum output even at minimal pressure. No pumps required.

2. The Spring-Failure Loop (The Mechanical Problem)

Most diverters use a "Push-Type" spring mechanism. These springs lose tension, corrode, and stick, leading to a 100% failure rate over time.

  • The Hyper Flow Advantage: We eliminated the spring entirely. Our shifting and mixing are handled by a single, robust mechanical unit.

3. The Manufacturing Defect Trap (The Factory Problem)

Dual-cartridge systems require complex internal cavities. This leads to casting porosity, pinhole leaks, and high rejection rates during mass production.

  • The Hyper Flow Advantage: One cartridge means one simple cavity. This 50% size reduction allows for perfect precision in every unit.

Frequently asked Questions

01

1. What is a Hyper Flow Faucet Cartridge?

Hyper Flow is a revolutionary "Single-Unit" cartridge technology designed to replace the bulky, dual-cartridge systems found in traditional bathroom diverters. It is the first cartridge of its kind that integrates water mixing (Hot/Cold) and water shifting (Shower/Spout) into one compact mechanical heart. Backed by Kerro Faucets’ 17-year legacy, it represents the next generation of plumbing durability.

02

2. Why was Hyper Flow technology needed?

The plumbing industry has been stuck in the "Complexity Trap" for decades. Traditional designs have two major flaws that Hyper Flow was built to solve:

  • Low Water Pressure: Standard cartridges have narrow internal paths that "choke" water flow.

  • Mechanical Failure: Old diverters use Push-Type Shifters with internal springs. These springs are the #1 cause of failure because they lose tension or get stuck due to mineral buildup (limescale).

  • Hyper Flow was needed to provide a spring-free, high-output alternative that never gets stuck.

03

3. How does Hyper Flow solve low water pressure in showers?

Most "low pressure" issues aren't caused by your pipes—they are caused by restrictive cartridges.

  • High-Output Design: Hyper Flow features an optimized internal "High-Pass" geometry that allows for a larger volume of water to pass through even at very low incoming pressure.

  • No Pressure Pump Required: In many cases, switching to a Hyper Flow system removes the need for expensive external pressure booster pumps.

04

4. What are the advantages for Faucet Manufacturers?

Hyper Flow provides "Manufacturing Liberty" by solving the Defect Trap:

  • Zero Porosity: Dual-cartridge systems require complex brass casting, leading to pinhole leaks. Hyper Flow’s single-cartridge design simplifies the body, reducing factory rejection rates to near-zero.

  • Material Flexibility: Unlike old designs that require heavy brass, Hyper Flow is universally compatible with CPVC, PPR, PTMT, Forging Brass, and Injection Molding.

  • 50% Smaller Footprint: Manufacturers can create sleeker, more minimalist designs because the diverter body is half the size of traditional units.

05

5. Is Hyper Flow really maintenance-free?

Yes. Traditional cartridges have tiny gaps where dust and debris get trapped, causing clogs. Hyper Flow’s "High-Pass" design is engineered to flush out debris and mineral deposits naturally. Because we eliminated the push-type spring, there are no small mechanical parts that can corrode or snap over time.

06

6. Can Hyper Flow be used in CPVC or plastic diverter bodies?

Absolutely. One of the greatest technological advantages of Hyper Flow is its Universal Compatibility. It is designed to fit perfectly into diverter bodies made from modern materials like CPVC and PPR, which are more sustainable and cost-effective than traditional brass casting.

07

7. What makes Hyper Flow different from a "High-Pressure" showerhead?

A high-pressure showerhead only changes the spray at the end. The Hyper Flow Cartridge changes the flow from the source. By removing the restrictions inside the diverter itself, you get a genuine increase in water volume, not just a thinner, high-pressure mist.
